  • Is it possible to paint the Erki-construction?
    No.
  • Is it possible to take a bath or a shower with the Erki-construction?
    Yes . The adhesive gel is not water-soluble.
  • Is it possible to use the Erki-construction several times?
    No. The Erki-construction stays on a nail dependent on the nail growth app. 8 – 12 months.
  • How long does an Erki-treatment take?
    The period is dependent on the nail growth, hardness and thickness of the nail, preparation of the nail and the choosen tractive force.
  
     
Erkoton 20/30  
 
  • Is it possible to wear orthoses made of Erkoton 20/30 in shoes?
    That is exactly what they are made for. Orthoses of Erkoton 20/30 are worn in shoes, even when doing sports.
  • What limits the efficiency of individual orthoses out of Erkoton 20/30?
    You should wear suitable shoes. Narrow and tight shoes are not suitable for silicone orthoses.
  • How can I clean a silicone orthose made of Erkoton 20/30?
    You can wash it with warm water or use desinfection means.
  • Is a finished Erkoton orthose still adjustable?
    Erkoton 20/30 after binding can be treated by grinding. Please use our LISKO-polishing discs.
  • How long Erkoton is durable?
    Erkoton 20/30 is durable 2 years at minimum.
  • How should Erkoton 20/30 be stored?
    Erkoton should be stored at a steady temperature. Optimal is a temperature of between 20 – 25 °C.
  • When do I use Erkoton 20, when Erkoton 30 (harder)?
    In general we can state, that Erkoton 20 is used for pressure relief orthoses / upholsteries, Erkoton 30 for correction orthoses.
  
     
Onyclip-technique  
 
  • Is it possible to paint Onyclip?
    Yes . Please only use nail polish / varnish.
  • Is it possible to take a bath or shower with Onyclip?
    Yes . The adhesive gel is not water-soluble.
  • Is Onyclip reusable?
    Onyclip can be applied to a specific patient with a maximum of 4 times.
  • How long does a treatment with Onyclip take?
    The period of application is dependent on speed of nail growth, hardness and thickness of nail, the preparation of the nail and the applied tractive force.
  
     
Loryko  
 
  • Is it possible to wear Loryko in shoes?
    Loryko can be worn in shoes without any problem, even under strain when doing sports.
  • What limits the efficiency of the Loryko hallux valgus bandage?
    If Loryko is applied as a daytime bandage, suitable shoes should be choosen. Tight, narrow shoes are not suitable.
  • How Loryko can be cleaned?
    Loryko can be washed at 30 °C in a washing machine.
  • Is Loryko available in different sizes?
    Loryko is available in 7 sizes.
  • How do I decide about the size of Loryko?
    The size of Loryko depends on the shoe size of the patient. Loryko is available in 7 sizes. The patient should try on the bandage in order to find the optimal size.
  • Is it possible for Erkodent to take back Lorykos if it is the wrong size?
    Sorry, with regard to hygiene it is not possible for Erkodent to take back Lorykos.
